On the 22nd of September Credico South Africa united for an early celebration of Heritage Day and reflected on how it’s commitment to diversity has played a significant role in its success not just in South Africa, but as a globally connected organisation.
Heritage Day is a national public holiday, which recognises the country of South Africa as a nation that belongs to all its people and celebrates the coming together of different cultures. Taking place on annually on the 24th of September South Africans are encouraged to celebrate and share their culture, backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions on Heritage Day not only to educate but to express the country’s acceptance of diversity.
To mark the holiday, on the Friday the 22nd of September Credico South Africa invited its employees at its Randburg office to celebrate their heritage in style. Professionals across the company came to work in traditional dress and shared their backgrounds and cultures with the rest of the Credico team. ‘It was so nice seeing different cultures unite as one, at Credico South Africa we are lucky to be a diverse community and having an opportunity to learn about each other’s beliefs and traditions is very special.’ Stated a spokesperson for the agency.
