Exemplary Training Practices
Credico representatives undergo a series of training procedures to ensure that they are fully prepared to represent your products and services.
1. Classroom Training |
2. In-Field Training |
Representatives are given formalized training sessions in the Credico training center where they learn: Application-completion process: They are taught about all fields of the application form, and what customer information is required. Product Knowledge: The individual credit card products and pricing are explained. Initial training is often a collaborative session with client involvement. Our processes are always transparent. Loyalty Program Benefits: Reward programs, promotions, and redemption values are al fully explained. Brand Positioning: As ambassadors to our clients, our reps must not only have an understanding of the products themselves, but also of the overarching brand (bank, often) so as to comprehend how to best represent it. Tone & Manner: Often, it is important that the prospect’s perception is that the sales rep is a member of the organization that Credico represents, and must reflect the organizational values.

Intensive training is conducted in-field by the representatives’ supervisor. Phase one of the training lasts three days: Selling Skills: Reps are coached on persuasive scripts that highlight the products’ best features and benefits. Customer Approach: Reps are monitored to ensure a respectful and friendly interaction. Activation Messages: Reps are coached to remind customers to activate and use their cards once received. This message is most effective when it ties into reward program bonuses and/or to the opportunity for “point” accumulation.Hand Outs: Reps provide post-sale collateral materials as applicable.
