On Tuesday, December 12, 2017, team members from Credico USA helped prepare gifts for Children’s Home + Aid, a leading child and family service agency based in Chicago, Illinois.

This year’s event was Credico’s sixth year participating in the gift drive. In prior years, Credico ‘adopted’ families and fulfilled their holiday wish lists. However, this year Credico also donated manpower.

Our corporate volunteers unloaded, sorted and wrapped gifts provided by state-wide contributions from a mixture of charities, companies, and residents alike.  The gifts benefit children in need and help make the Christmas holiday a period brighter for them and their families. By participating in this charitable community event, Credico is able to help Children’s Home + Aid provide gifts and essential home goods to more than 3,000 children and their families each year.

This incredible nonprofit organization protects and counsels more than 40,000 children and families throughout the state. Their work provides hope and opportunity to the Chicago community. Children’s Home + Aid is committed to improving the lives of children and families throughout Illinois.

“The event was heartfelt and incredibly grounding. It made us all realize how important it is to give a helping hand. Even the smallest of gestures can make the biggest of differences,” stated Melanie Yates, Executive Administrator for Credico (USA) LLC.

Donors dropped off huge quantities of gifts throughout the day, keeping the volunteers busy.
