What do you do here at Credico?
I am a Key Account Manager responsible for the PEP campaign and part of the sales team at Credico SA.
What brought you to want to work at Credico?
The position held some exciting challenges. From an organizational perspective, the business looked organized, with great growth opportunities within the company.
How long have you worked at Credico?
I have been with Credico since April 2022, 1 year and eight months.
What is your favorite project you worked on?
Growing the PEP campaign has given me great joy. Seeing business owners grow their organizations with lots of promotions and a happy client who is excited to grow their footprint in the country has been very exciting indeed. I enjoy seeing people grow and do my best to influence them for the better while being open to learning and taking on new challenges.
What happens on a typical day at Credico?
Planning, strategizing, and implementing senior management’s expectations, managing reports, identifying areas for improvements in the various products per owner, managing region supervisors, and running calls with business owners on a regular basis.
What do you like most about working at Credico?
One of the great things at Credico is the family atmosphere and the culture of everyone assisting one another when help is needed.
Would you share the best career or life advice you’ve received?
Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I remember. Involve me, and I understand. – Chinese proverb.
How do you spend your time when you are not working?
I love watching sport, specifically rugby and American football, having a braai with my wife and dogs, and spending quality time with the family at home.
If you could have dinner and a conversation with anyone, who would it be and why?
Elon Musk – I find him extremely interesting in the way he thinks and his ideas, and I’m sure it will make a great conversation over dinner.
